OK, so they are not technically golden ales, but they’re OUR golden ales! This year, Cerveceria Dos Aves won two GOLD medals with our Pale Ale and “Stout Imperial” at the Cerveza Mexico 2015 Professional Beer competition, Mexico’s largest international beer event.

Winning two gold medals for classic beer styles tells us that the dedication and hard work that we put into producing high quality delicious beers have not been in vain.

We are proud of both medals, but we are especially proud of the gold medal for our American West Coast Style Pale Ale, brewed in a style that is very close to our hearts. This is the beer that reminds us of our roots in California. And now, we are proud to say that we have successfully brought the West Coast style to the heart of Mexico, the Bajio region, and San Miguel de Allende, our home.
 Dos Aves Stout Imperial Gold Medal
Not to be forgotten, our other 2015 gold medal winning "Stout Imperial", a Russian Imperial Stout, is one of our favorite seasonal releases. This beer is rich and complex, with flavors of bittersweet chocolate and coffee. This jet-black full-bodied beer has a gorgeous mocha colored foamy head, which slowly releases the delicious aromas that are trapped inside.
